- Engineering plastics including PET, PBT and PCT.
- Polyamide and nylon applications.
- High-temperature polymer processing.
- Demanding electrical and engineering-plastic applications.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
Brominated Polystyrene is a polymeric additive flame retardant containing highly thermally stable aromatic bromine. It offers outstanding thermal stability and electrical properties, making it particularly suitable for engineering plastics such as polyesters (PET, PBT and PCT) and polyamides (nylon).
Its excellent thermal stability makes it an ideal choice for high-temperature applications where other flame retardants may not withstand processing conditions. Due to its polymeric structure, it does not bloom in applications, while its excellent electrical properties support demanding engineering-plastic requirements.
